The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God Worldwide, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has congratulated the new World Heavyweight Champion "officially".

He did this during a light hearted session of the Holy Communion service of the May 2017 Holy Ghost Service tagged "ABBA Father part 4".

According to him "that's why I congratulate that boy Joshua. Not only because he is a Nigerian, or because I myself used to be a boxer, but he has helped me to remind the world that pounded yam is better than rice and Eba is better than indomie and pags." to which the congregation clapped and laughed.

Boxing as a sport is not different from football. They are both competitions
