The Bible undeniably condemns adultery and sexual immorality, but is sex before marriage considered sexually immoral? Abraham's delay in child birth was a test. He couldn't wait and was encouraged by his wife to have an extramarital affair with his maid. He is the father of all nations and you and I are sharing in his punishment till today. Without Ishmael you won't have religious terrorism from the Middle East today.

David was expressly judged. The sword remained in his house. Absalom his son slept with all his wives on the roof top before the whole city and then overthrew his father David.

Solomon was chosen out of mercy to replace David. He satisfied himself with 1000 women and what was the outcome? Legal marriage...as defined by man... and marriage according to the Bible are not the same. We need to deal with them separately. Sex before marriage.... marriage as set out by man?...where one has to make it official?..sex before signing the document?... the most that can be is illegal... but not a sin. A sin is the transgression of Biblical laws/practices...not that of man's. According to the Bible... if a man can't contain himself he should go and find a wife. The one that he chooses to have sex with is his wife.... no sex before marriage involved. But if he chooses to sleep around... then that's fornication. If his wife chooses to sleep with another man... then that's adultery for the wife and ehmmm...lover boy. If the husband decides to have another wife.. two total... not sure if that's adultery ....according to the Bible.
