The only sour experience I have had with Tecno was last year. The screen of a phantom A plus (also called phantom Z) I bought 2 years back got broken and for some reason the phone refused to switch on. I took it to Carl Care (Tecno official phone repair/maintenance brand in Nigeria) and the very rude staff that attended to me said ''that phone is outdated, newer versions of it are out''. I replied ''I didn't ask to buy a new one, all I want to do is repair this one''. She waived me off with ''the parts are no longer available''. I was like ''a phone just about 2 years in the market?''

I don't buy low class phones.i don't buy very poor quality products. I have a friend that has the nonsense phone.and snap chat lags.the lowest app.i tried to play na 2k17 to test the processor.it was very very bad.buy Tecno products at your on penny.

Eh! I am currently planning to get a Techno L8 Plus. Please I don't want to buy something I would be repairing every time o. My major spec is the longevity of battery and memory and of course a good camera.

Please anyone in the house that has used or currently using L8 plus? Please kindly advise! .Thank you.

lo and behold the phone has 2MP camera with 6.0 Andriod version.

And it has 1gb ram oh.

How o earth will a phone with these configuration has these kinda MP


Nigerian Government should just ban all these substandard Products, Tecno nd Itel in particular,

am pizzed off.


If ah fit go collect ma money go buy nokia c2, ah go like am.

The battery lasts really long
And the camera is ok. The only thing I'm not happy about is it can't accept 4G, other than that everything is ok for me sha

Not only substandardphones, but no parts. Imagine a W4 I bought for 22k last year and stopped charging after 2 weeks am asked to pay 16k for repairs after a technician I asked to check the phone voided the warranty. Tecno should manufacture parts.

What everyone must understand is that there are different products for different target groups. Those in the target groups of the aforementioned phone would not be bothered by a 2MP camera. Most of those people are after a basic android phone. They are either using it as a second phone to complement their main phone or upgrading from a small java phone or their pocket is limited.

The OP can save money and go for a phone that have all the features he is looking for instead a berating a brand

Nobody is berating/slander any brand.The truth remain that Tecno and inferior/worthless brand are 5N6.Go to any roadside mechanic sorry engr workshop,70 pcent of damage/abandoned phone nah tecno and the rest are either BB/oda chinko and Samsung brand.

That could majorly be that most of these road side engineers do not have sufficient knowledge to service the phones; hence we always recommend taking our devices to Carlcare service center, where there are trained professionals to attend to faulty devices

Go and buy Samsung phone of 30k whether you will find up to 1GB RAM in it Samsung Duos is 728 MB ram sold at 25k
