German woman accused of duping Nigerian firm of N2.94bn diamond

A GERMAN woman, Rahel Tecle,  has been accused of duping  a Kaduna-based indigenous company of about N2.94 billion ($195,750) worth of 1,305 carats of rough diamond.
The company, Dan Arewa Investments Limited, which deals  in solid minerals, has already petitioned the German Ambassador to Nigeria over the matter which it described as “419” and copied the petition to Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation as well as the Inspector General of Police.
In the petition to the ambassador, signed by counsel to the company, Mr. Sanusi Mohammed, the firm was said  to have sold the alleged  amount of diamond to the German in 2004 with an understanding that she would pay for it at a later date.
“Surprisingly, having taken delivery of the items, the buyer fled back to Frankfurt, circumvented the above agreement and failed, refused and neglected to pay our client the value of the said solid diamonds despite repeated demand for same which lasted for over a year,” the firm stated.

So there it is. . .i wonder what the likes of Thor have to say about this.You won't see Germans bashing their own because of this but if it was a Nigerian who duped a German, this thread would have been 10 pages long by now.

Nonsense, the more u talk the more silly u sound, crime is crime HARAKIRI no matter who commites it, Nigerian, German, American, etc.

For the fact that germans are not bashing her DOES NOT mean that Nigerians will not stand up to the evil act.

I will never give excuses for anybody, she deserve jail sentence and the money returned to the Nigerian onwer just as every 419ner deserved to be punished
