Even now with the present political state of the nation, has the SS even shown any convincing sign that they share similar ideals or goals with the SE?...

On close examination, it appears it is only SEasterners that just keep making this hasty conclusion that the SS is united with the SE in terms of idealogy (something some may refer to as 'by force attachment') and I keep wondering where this assumption comes from. In reality, southern Nigeria is still as divided as ever, and until southern Nigeria learns to put away its differences and work for specific goals in unity, the north will keep having the upper hand.

You clearly did not read my text. I'll summarize it for you.

Yorubas have two dominant blocks voting for the two dominant parties. Then a minority block that swings the vote to the more popular candidate.

That is why you guys are always on the winning side and your elite are as fluid as water when picking sides. So if you say Yorubas don't hate GEJ, and I say Yorubas hate GEJ, both of us are right. 3 out of 5 Yoruba people hate GEJ but it is a democracy. Majority carry the day.

2015 was the chance for Yoruba to side overwhelmingly with the other two Southern regions to deliver the dieing blow to the Northern hegemony and prove to them that we are all equal in Nigeria. But you guys scuttled it for a mere VP position. The same position the North gave you guys twice in 2011 and refused.

Now look at how many Southerners and Northern Christians have died for your mistakes since 2015. Agatu, Plateau, Nasarawa, Nimbo, Southern Kaduna. Even two preachers from the same church as the VP were butchered, one in the same capital city as him and in broad day light, with their killers roaming the streets as we speak. In the last 3 weeks, Fulani herdsmen have killed 5 policemen in my home state in the same locality that made it to the news. Tens of innocent farmers have been butchered. There are communities in my state where Fulani herdsmen tax farmers before they can farm on their farmland. Helicopters bring in supplies for the urchins. All of this with zero replies, no condemnation from the bigot and the so-called spineless Pastor VP because they are his people. A crisis happened in Ife and only Ife people were moved to ABJ, they are still there as we speak.

Would this foolish grazing land-grabbing bill had reared its head under GEJ and a united south calling the shots?

What exactly made 2015 the most important year in Nigerian history to go for a VP position, when all permutations already looked set for a NW/SW joint ticket in 2019 if Jonathan had his way? You guys already had your 8 uninterrupted years, so why the sudden eagerness to return to the top?

The obvious southern disunity in 2015 was a joy for the North because 2011 scared them shitl*ss. If 2015 had been a repeat of 2011, all this rubbish by Northern cabal would have been canned going forward. Now we are back where we started, and all of a sudden you want us to get together, barely two years after and with the consequences of your actions staring us right in the face, as one big happy family after telling us to our face to f*ck off. The audacity you guys have is insulting.

We are not interested. Whether you guys love or hate GEJ is irrelevant. Actions speak louder than words and we really don't care. Nothing will happen to GEJ in Nigeria and the SS will continue to hold the country to ransom without resistance. Southern Unity died in 2015, and the SW did the burial.
