Update: Now rectified, see last image. This evening, Access Bank sent a mail regarding charging $20 monthly on USD debit card, claiming its a CBN directive. While this directive is true for annual maintenance, on no account did the CBN said they should charge $20 monthly in the Circular which can be found HERE (Section 10.3) This is to serve as an heads up incase Access Bank proceeds with such fraudulent act.

I got the N50 debit alert today. It says for Monthly Card maintenance.   |

Septre: Yes, that's for Naira cards. Even though CBN gave the directive, they shouldn't have been that fast to charge users. 1 Like |
