The Deplorable State Of Police Barracks... by martinsbriggs: 11:02pm On May 14, 2017
CHALLENGES FACED BY THE NIGERIAN POLICE FORCE (NPF).
Our search light today focuses on the Nigerian Police force
We keep complaining about the behavior of the men of the Nigerian Police Force especially the Rank & Files, but one will wonder the deplorable conditions this men do live under, a visit to the Police state Headquarters Barracks Eleyele Ibadan will shock u and will definitely clear your doubt, ranging from the rooms, down to the toilet and bathrooms will make a sane person go Insane.
Those calling for the reforms of the Nigeria Police Force are right, but the reforms should start from there welfare packages, living conditions, allowance & salaries and benefits during and after the Service of 35 years because of the popular saying which goes thus ''that an hungry man is an angry man''
These toilet are so vulnerable to a lot of diseases , same also apply to the dormitory or hostels the recruit are kept or lodge(those undergoing training), a visit to the Police Training School Eleyele Ibadan affirm this fact.
In addition, with all the challenges been faced by this men, only a few among them can resist the temptation of not collecting bribe and endorse the '' Change begins with me'' initiative of the FG, these as made bail difficult to be free,a times you see them pushing there vehicles on the road, this brings bad Image to the country.
Though, it is unreasonable for any Police officer to engage his/herself in any frivolous activities because he/she want to live a good life, every Police officer before entry into the Force should be aware of this challenges.
My appeal to the relevant authorities especially the FG is to provide better welfare packages to the men of the NPF, in other to increase there efficiency and services especially to the common man.
Await my next article on the trauma faced by the families of a retired/Dead Police Officer .

Money is budgeted every year if they are wasting on top of collecting bribes on roads why cry for them. Let them arrest eachother.

the IG that came next stole even more ,
