A Fuel Tanker filled with Petrol, this afternoon was involved in a ghastly accident around Oba old Road in Anambra State. According to Prisca Chiamaka Abel, the driver was driving from another town in Anambra State on a high speed and unfortunately the brake system failed, resulting in the long vehicle skidding off the road and ended up running into a building.

Wow... Recklessness? maybe. Faulty brakes? most certainly... And these tanker drivers should by now be wise enough to know their brakes can fail anytime... Hence much caution should be taken especially within the residential/busy areas. Thanks goodness no casualty was reported.

Overspeeding, weed + alcohol are the major causes of accident in Nigeria. However, most of these truck drivers are insane; extremely careless & callous
