Two soldiers have been killedin a suicide attack at a military checkpoint in konduga,borno state,the police said on thursday. The female suicide bomber,according to a statement by the spokesman for the police in borno state, victor isuku, donated the explosive strapped on her at a military checkpoint just in front of an internally displaced persons'camp. Isuku said"information received from the police in konduga has it that on wednesday,17/5/17,at about 7:30pm,a female suicide bomber detonated an explosive strapped to her body by mashimari by a military checkpoint behind the internally displaced persons camp at konduga. The police spokesman said the attack claimed two soldiers. he said the scene of the crime was visited by the EOD team of the police. Isuku said normalcy had been restores in the area while the area was still being monitored.
