Use Toilet soap lik Joy, Lux etc n Olive oil 4 ur skin; it's vry gud n affodabl. Pls avd dos crems n lotions wit chemcls, wich aint 2 gud 4 fair skin. 2 av a glowg skin, avd sun rays, eat "LOTS" f fruits n vegetabls, drink water n remov ur mak up (if u wear 1) b4 goin 2 bed. 3 Likes |

I used joy soap n ma skin ws darkening, i started using 'so white' soap n after a wk,ma comp cam sparklin, u cn check ma pix 4 proof 2 Likes 2 Shares |

hmm use summin wiv plenty of natural oils amd add glycerin and stay out of the sun dont use hard soap- it dries out the skin use shower gels and liquid soaps try to avoid bleachin creams for prolonged use 1 Like |

So-white cream is really good but for soap, just like it has been said, stick with toilet soaps.You can also use Black Opal full range of products as an alternative 1 Like |

@Poster, try "simple soap" it's a bar soap but I do not find it drying.I have been using it for years and it makes my face feel very soft. |

Hmm I am not sure myself, it's very common over here, you even get it in the supermarkets. I could send you a pack of 2 if you tell me a very cheap postal service to use. Maybe some one will come along and let us know if they have seen it in Lagos. |

ayettymama: Pastor Ayettymama, Na lie oh! Fair and White doesnt work for everyone. Used it 2yrs ago when I went to NYSC camp. I think it only made me darker. After that, someone recommended "Skin Success". I cldnt tell if it worked or not. Right now, I no get power for all these soap and cream things abeg. Dettol soaps works just fine for me I dnt need lotion (except on my legs). My face is ok the way it is Whoever marries me will save a lot of money on a lot of things or we''ll use the saved money to buy perfumes 5 Likes |

I heard bathing gel is better than bar soap.Pls guyz does any one knw a nice bathing gel for a fair skin.As for body cream,pls i need help on a bodycream with sunscreen for fair skin which cn b found in Nigeria.thanks! |

Deep Soul: you live in nigeria?? your cream was probably fake- in secondary school- my creams and soaps were continuosly stolen i had to start pouring it in a vaseline tub- no lie!- the cream gets rid of blemishes and pigmentation skin success is one craem i dont like but my mom loves it, apparently its good for toning, she mixes all sorts with it its nice to mix glycerine with ur cream as well- for skin suppleness 1 Like |

Abeg mesef dey find cream and soap,normally I use just toilet soap cos my skin reacts to anythng medicated or antiseptic and I dnt use any cream cos iv got oily skin,but lately iv started gettin darker and I seem to be avin lil rashes(kinda lik heatrashes on my face)tried using st ives apricot facial scrub,but no shows,pls I nid advic on wat to use |

Lol, really? Have you used it before? That's what I use, hasn't darken me. It has AHAs? Erm, ok, start using sunscreens. You always have to, it's a must I think the best possible thing to do is look for a toner. Check boots or superdrug. Try lactic acid, if you can buy it. Off ebay. You have an oily skin, just like me so if you are using any oils on your face (baby oils etc), stop. |

Hmmmmm I kip hearin bout usin sunscreen,but iv never taken it seriosly cos I blv its oyinbo peopl who nid it more,and I realy hate rubbin anythng on my face,usualy feels lik I'm rubbing gunk on but wth d situation of thngs I gues I'll ave to go for it,oya recomend one |

They advice all race to wear, although it's harder for us to get skin cancer as other races, we get the worst ones. So I advice everyone to use it. Try garnier brands. Use a high SPF, if you don't want to tan. |
