there's no hiding the fact anymore.
if you look at civil service
films
music
sports
diaspora
achievements
anything the gives nigeria face internationaly and nationally, igbos are usually 90% of the sector.


so ppl that say igbos aren't the majority are saying igbos are some type of ultra superior race whose per capita contribution to nigeria is 10 fold what everyone else is.

i think things like our soccer team and media are ethnically honest representations of the population in nigeria. how can the 'repressed minority' also be the most visible group in overwhelming percentages.


also, all major cities in nigeria are AT LEAST 70% igbo, no joke.
and you'll find igbos in very village and city in all parts of the country but you'll rarely if ever find others in our cities.


also, the igbo region of nigeria is the most densely populated in africa outside of the nile in egpyt

Whats wrong in accepting the fact.It is obvious that Igbos have the greatest populatns amongst the entire tribes of Nigeria despite the fact that the Hausa's have more states.Which state,city,town,village will u go to in Nigeria and u wont find an Igbo?Even outside the shores of Nigeria,Igbos are the most travelled tribe.
Lets just accept it.

All this tribal crap has died a natural crap on NL. We actually have bigger problems right now like errrr , no president, terrorist tags, extreme poverty and growing anarchy. I'm Igbo but right now it doesnt matter, the sorry state of this crazy country ranks high on my priority list

Number 1- densley populated means small area or compact, go read a book.

They very well may be because the first few yorubas,fulanis are migrants who entered Nigerias area met Niger congo people some of which they introduced to civilization "made yoruba" or "fulani", some of which they pushed further to the SE.(Igbo literally means bush or woods, forest dwellers in yoruba). Many yorubas, fulanis, hausas if not all are not really 100% but comprimise of a mixture of conquered people.

If igbos are the largest tribe in Nigeria, then stop complaining and act like the largest tribe in Nigeria, why have a biafra when you were the first people in all of Nigeria?. Which no one denies.

Igbos cant be the majority of Nigerian residents now. Many Igbos are abroad and you cannot be there and here at the same time. Yes, Igbo will be the largest group if all of them were living in Nigeria.

Don't mind those who claim greatness through tribal lines. Of what use is the richest man in Nigeria being from your tribe when you are personally as poor as a church rat.
