Every well meaning Nigerian has been speaking out against the alleged plan by some military officials to stage a coup and overthrow the present government. I really do not know what their primary reasons are but I wish that buhari completes his tenure till 2019 so that a proper election can be conducted to determine who leads next because the way I am seeing things, some people might want to cause a very big chaos in the eventuality of buhari's forbidden demise. All these coup hullabaloo might be a sign of things to come if that happens.

Now away from these distractions to main event which is determining the strength of a nation's military. Sometime ago, I read about the 6-day Israeli-Arab war. I wouldn't rule out a 'miracle' where such a small nation that was less than a year old could stand against 6 giant Arab nations and defeat them. If you are quite conversant with the history of Israel, you will know that they have a divine backing kind of. But again, they went on offensive; they fought with all their might.

The military strength of any nation is the fear of other countries; any country that has a very powerful military cannot be easily threatened. To an extent, a powerful military guarantees the sovereign peace of any nation.

With this in mind, I am going to build a formidable force in the military. I know how to do this. I am going to leverage on the wisdom of ancient kings who were able to guard their territories against invaders, and also the technology of present times.

I assure you, we will stand for peace and prosperity but guess what? I will never take the blood of any citizen for granted; I will make sure you are protected. I will fight those who fight you, So will I extend a hand of friendship to those who welcome you. This I will do so that your respect for yourself and the nation will never be compromised.
