The 5 Most Important Questions Of Life by gentlegenius(m): 9:59am On May 29, 2017
We live life in stages and each stage comes with a different question for us to just answer. These questions are casual but very essential because they remind us of the things that are most important at every stage of our lives and how well we answer them determines how well we spent our lives so far.
These questions are:
1. HOW ARE YOU? (2-10)years old:
As a child, you begin to speak or learn to speak at approximately 2 years old. You first learn how to greet people, but everyone you greet will have a question for you - How are you?
Whether you are fine or not, you'll reply "I'm fine" (because that's the response you were taught). But have you ever wondered why everyone you meet or greet will keep asking you this question until you are around 10 years old? The reason is that your well being is your most important priority within that age bracket(2-10)years.
2. HOW IS SCHOOL? (10- 30)years old:
Most of the people you come across at this stage will likely ask you this question and that is because education is your most important priority within the age gap of 10- 30 years.
Though there are many ways to be educated and many places to gain education, but the conventional believe is that school is the only/best place to get education.
3. HOW IS WORK? (30- 40)years old:
People normally ask you this question to remind you that at this stage of your life, you should be working or at least doing something to support yourself and stop depending on your parents. It is believed that you must have spent the previous stage of your life preparing and building yourself for work. So even if there is no job for you(like in this period of economic quagmire), you can start a business or continue building/preparing yourself so that whenever a job comes up, you'll not be found wanting.
4. HOW IS YOUR FAMILY? (40- 65)years old:
By the time you are beyond 40, people are already tired of asking about your work, and they'll believe that you have already settled down to raise a family. So the next question you face is How is your family?
If you are still unmarried at this stage, then you'll face a lot of embarrassment when your mates and colleagues will tell you about their families and ask about yours. But if you have a family already, you'll find out that your family is your most important priority at this stage of your life.
5. HOW IS YOUR HEALTH? (65- till you die):
This is the question aged people face every day. Once you clock 65 and above, your children are old enough to at least take care of themselves and in most cases, they are no longer living with you. So people will stop asking about your family and knowing very well that your health deteriorates as you get older, the next and possibly last question you face in life is How is your health. This shows that sound health is what we desire most at this stage of life.
But unfortunately these days, people hardly live beyond 70, so you may have just 5 years to answer this health question. Though everybody hopes to live long because it is possible, but you must know that the things you did or fail to do with your life in the earlier stages of life will contribute a lot to how long you live to answer this last question. This means that you must be careful with the previous stages if you want to be happy/healthy at this last stage.

In my opinion, if you are still in school at 35, still unmarried at 45 or still raising children at 70, then something is wrong with your life.
LIVING A FULFILLED LIFE IS NOT ABOUT MAKING MONEY AND BEING WEALTHY, IT'S ABOUT MAKING THE BEST USE OF EVERY STAGE OF YOUR LIFE.

I know you are joking, but must we joke with everything we see on Nairaland? Your statement negates the last paragraph of my write up and if there's a modicum of seriousness in what you just said, then you belong to the class of people who thinks money is everything in life.
IF YOU THINK MONEY DOES EVERYTHING IN LIFE, THEN YOU'LL DO EVERYTHING IN YOUR LIFE FOR MONEY.
