In ikorodu, when they are having ORO festival, everyone is adviced to go home early and women are adviced to stay indoors!
Even those that go for Night Vigil decide to use common sense (as advised in the Bible!) and stay safe.
Once the festival is over, they resume back to normal.

Common-sense is not common to some.
It makes more sense to lay-low for awhile than trying to confront others.

Same way Nigeria has a law of 14 years for homosexuality. Some countries like USA might not be cool with that law but most Nigerians commend that law as they don't tolerate homosexuality.

Nigeria is a multi-religious society and Boko Haram can never be practicing Islam as it has been taught. There will always be Muslims,Christians, Jews and idol worshippers in the land as it has always been even in the time of the prophet Muhammad (SAW). There's no compulsion in religion as I said and you don't force people to practice your religion.

Tolerance is key. And I believe you will say Boko Haram don't tolerate other people. Look around you, you must have few good Muslim friends that you trust even more than some Christians. Study their behaviour and reflect on the reality of true Muslims. Most Muslims hate Boko Haram,ISIS, etc but it's unfortunate we have those evil eggs in our midst.
