The guy is a hungry lawyer, seeking for every little avenue to enrich himself. A typical Nigerian is hospitable, tolerant, patient and sacrificial.

Let the incident happen to you in a time of urgency.

Then we can know how tolerant and sacrificial you are.

Just listen to yourself again, does it sound meaningful to you? People just want to run mouth anyhow without actually knowing what they are saying.

And from your blinkered perspective, you think the man's claim for 100m naira for the so called damages is not outrageous?
It's his right to take legal actions. The court will have to look at the variables and T&Cs before giving their verdict.
For fairness, an assessment should be conducted to determine the extent of damage and financial power of the defendant, before drawing conclusions on the sum commensurate with the damages.
You can take legal actions but don't try to use it as an avenue to enrich yourself.
Let the court decide!!!

you so hurt at me for nothing, if not for the Nigerian spirit, people like Buhari would have since resigned, minister of power would have since resigned, minister of finance would have since thrown in the towel. It is the Nigerian spirit that keeps them going.

If its not typical of Nigerians, how many times have any sued NEPA/PHCN to court? Now fuel pump price is about to be increased, would you come out let's protest? Coward waiting for who will go for him.
@ least I don't have a mindset of a slave that is so gullible to the system,it brings tears to my eyes when I see that people like you still exist among us the youth. The least we could do is to know what is right from wrong. This ain't the slave era no more get updated

If everyone has been suing for issues like this, many banks in Nigeria will no longer exist.
Modified : Many people who have quoted me do not really understand my point. Lemme shed more light, the rate at which banks mess up with the money meant to be kept safe by them is getting higher and this is mostly through some Unaccountable deductions and unexplainable charges. If everybody starts pressing charges every time such occurs again, the banks will be more careful as they will realise that the effects of the charges (compensations) , because we know it's going to be many, will likely cripple them. This will prompt them to serve customers better.

Your first comment and modification are contradicting each other. One is proposing, the other is opposing

It is strange how people that never left their rooms before will be commenting as if they've travelled around the world. Who told you it is only Nigeria that does this? It is a daily practice in advanced countries. If the bank didn't offend him, he wouldn't have sued them.

That's how one idiot was saying juju is done only in Nigeria

No court will set such a precedent..... ATM's always go faulty.

It is not by ATM going faulty; it is by the bank handling the issue professionally. When people don't read post before commenting, they end up making stupid comments.

Nigerian spirit make our leaders take us for granted.Have you imagined a scenario where millions of Nigerians just pour out and stand in front of the National assembly. ..just a peaceful protest. Leaders will think twice. I didn't mean to chastise or be rude to you.

A bill is paid for services rendered. How many hours do we receive power in a month, only to receive outrageous NEPA bill. there was a time I went to NEPA office and almost pull than the building, I was on rampage because for three consecutive months, I was given a bill of over N27,000 per month. My fellow Nigerians were saying, "na so we see'am, wetin we go do, take'am easy", that is the Nigeria spirit I was talking about. A German colleague in the office once told me even though, its a goat that emerges as the president of Nigeria, Nigerians has no say, they quickly will adapt.
