NEGLIGENCE KILLS SUCCESS
READ PROVERBS 6:1-11
MEMORISE: The desire of the lazy man kills him, for his hands refuse to labour. (Proverbs 21:25)

The work of any man is what will make him. That is why Solomon said, Prepare your outside work, make it fit for yourself in the field; And afterward build your house (Prov 24:27). But many today have neglected their works, taking such with levity; they are slothful.
If a man is serious with his work, he will not be walking leisurely to his workplace by 8 am, knowing fully well that he is supposed to resume by 7:30 am. If your work matters to you, you would not be leaving it unattended to, on time, moving about aimlessly, while customers/clients and others who would have contributed in a way or the other, come, and go to others places, since you are nowhere to be found. Be diligent.
Some other people neglect their working tools. They are careless with them. If you will make a mark in life, take care of that office of yours. Take care of the furniture and other things serving as inputs. Do not joke with your work. It matters a lot in the making of your destiny. Those who neglect their duties, pay dearly for it in the end. Learn from Jeroboam (1 Kgs 11:25).
Have you wondered why many are not promoted, even when they are due for it? God might be repaying them for their negligent attitude. There is no serious minded person who will elevate an unserious person, or commit something big into the hands of such a person. It is a major road block to success. Don’t be negligent or lazy in your God-given duties.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord, take the spirit of negligence out of my life.
2. Father Lord, help me to be serious with all You have given me to do.
3. Lord, strengthen our political and church leaders to see their works as God-given, so that they can be committed to doing it as unto You.
