The North Is Playing Into Igbo Trap, They Will Lose More If The Igbos Leave. by hornyofife: 3:54pm On Jun 07, 2017
Is it only the igbos that will lose? what of northerners in the east? no matter how small their investment is, it will affect them too.

the suya seller who takes care of his family with the business, the beru de change marchant, the gate men, shoemakers, the okada riders, the food and perishable food sellers, the mart, rug and carpet sellers, the leather, onion, tomato and all fruit sellers, beans, yam, etc what of the cattle seller kwanu?

igbos can easily mobilize themselves, resettle and bear the temporal discomfort till the recover, can they in the north do that?

secondly, once the igbos in the north leave what happens to commercial activities in the north, what happens to the state IGR, what happens to when we ban dangote cement in the east knowing to well that easterners are his biggest consumers....

see any person that thinks igbos will loose more is plain ignorant...for me i like it, it helps our agitation and would be a lesson to all those silly igbos who carry their investment outside. with this call now, any igbo who thinks of investing outside the east especially in the north will think twice....

again they are not looking at the larger picture. if the igbos leave the north, other southern Nigerians will leave the north because they will not be comfortable in the north without the igbos. hence they may be forced to retaliate too by forcing all northerners in the south west and south south...

Forget the the gra gra and fighting among the southern groups, nobody wants to have anything to do with the north again. They north can never have it easy again.

The day they will start any mass killing in the north is the day God will keep them busy with a diesea like Ebola. That is day they will know that chukwu okike abiama are with is children.

As for me, am not worried. everything is playing for the good

This call by northern youths will trigger a boom in investment in igboland by igbos......at the end we are the winners.

open I totally disagree with you. first of all you should ask yourself HOW MANY OF THEM ARE IN YOUR LAND COMPARED TO YOUR PEOPLE THAT ARE HERE? how much capital does one need to come back and continue those odd jobs here? your people here work in banks, schools, radio stations, refineries, hospitals, law firms, and many other places. some are doing businesses like cooking gas business, prostitution, fake products sales, vehicle parts sales, piracy, armed robbery, and so on. some of them don't have houses in their villages but own mansions here and what's worse? THERE ARE MILLIONS OF THEN HERE. imagine all of them being kicked back to the south east to start afresh and you are here comparing them with suya sellers. bro you have more to lose. there are graduates that can take care of the jobs they will leave behind and most of the igbos here are traders not entrepreneurs

We have done this before and we can do it again.

Igbos are Westernized and believe in Western values, which can allow us to succeed in our own.

The North does not have this ability. Just look at the Northeast relying on Niger Delta oil to rebuild.

hypocrisy! are igbos the owners of the oil? don't you depend on the oil too? what are you without the oil? if the FG should decide to stop allocating oil money to you will you be able to survive it? NO. you will start crying about marginalization. no wonder you are doing everything to drag the ss to your biafra because without the oil you are nothing.

If millions of Igbos vacate Anywhere, You'd look for one mile before counting up to hundred persons in a cluster.
The north will become the desert it has always been if we vacate.
That's to say you will see fewer persons from Kaduna to Kano

This is why we say some igbos advocating for biafra are actually jobless people..... imagine this guy contradicting his fellow igbos..... when we have countless thread by igbos telling other tribes how they own everything from kano to kd to abuja...... And now same igbos are saying northerners will loose more how on earth is that true.... look I support the igbos right to self determination and I sincerely hope with the amount of hatred from both side that FG conduct a referendum for the igbos and let them go thier merry way...... Nigeria and igbos will be better for it cos no country can hope to develop with this kind of enmity between its citizens..... but I sincerely fear is for the millions of hardworking igbos around nigeria trying to make a living and all of a sudden they are asked leave all that behind..... just saying undecided

One can see that if there is referendum about biafra there is likelihood it would fail.

Because it would down on them, they have to go back to their place.

Jealousy na disease, Lolz!
We are entrepreneurs per excellence. Have you heard about the made in Aba products taking the world by the storm, have you heard about the made in nnewi products, do you know that the spare parts of the Nigerian Air force Alpha jets are made in nnewi, do you know that the first ever Nigerian drone Amebo was made by Igbo, could your ancestors have survived 39 months of constant bombardment and conspiracy by the other parts of the world to starve them to death for 30 months, could your ancestors have hurriedly built their hand made and over effective missiles and mines? Your lot gets better any day you quit hating Igbo's.
We don't hate, cos while you're busy hating, we're busy getting miles and miles ahead of you.

please don't kill me with laughter abeg. you are damaging our economy with imports and you are here claiming entrepreneur.what's the point of being jealous of those obsolete, warped goods that don't last up to 3 months? it is not just about building drones. quality is very important. and besides, you import the most important materials and assemble them. tell me the measures you took to survive that we cant make. yes, we could have survived it even better than you did. nobody hates the igbos. the igbos are the ones hating everyone around then and now they are facing the music. you are getting miles ahead of us and you have the first and 3rd most polluted region. your people are known for scamming and drug trafficking. The only thing keeping the north at bay is the whole south. Northerners (particularly Fulani) are conquerors by nature they like settling in place then taking over. Let's say the worst case senerio is that the north will defeat we Igbos and take over our land. If that happens, niger Delta and yorubas will be in trouble and cannot leave knowing fully well that the next thing will be to take over the commercial city of Lagos and colonize niger Delta oil. Everybody is playing mind games. Yorubas will not want northerner get absolutely numeric advantage and control more States and there precious lagos.
