The N-Power 2017 List Of Successful Shortlisted Applicants will be release in the month of September 2017. N-power next stage after online assessment test is shortlisting of the successful applicants, followed by deployment to state/local government of residence. After deployment comes the verification. So what is N-power verification and where will it take place?
If you have done your N-power test and you are looking forward to the list. While wishing you the best, you should get clue to what comes after that.
According to N-pwer support team, here are the processes for this year N-power engagement:
1. Application
2. BVN Validation
3. Test
4. Device Selection
5. Pre-selection
6. Physical verification
7. Selection
8. Deployment
By now, you had written your test and chosen your device, hence it’s time to proceed to Pre-selection and others.
It is not clear yet, what N-power intends to do with pre-selection but I assume this stage may not be something significant that, N-power may skip it or join it with other stages after. This stage is more or less short-listing stage.
From experience we know about physical verification, selection and deployment. And below is what you should know about the two stages ahead.
2017 N-Power Physical Verification Guide
After short-listing comes verification. And this is the physical checking of the credentials of the shortlisted applicants. The N-power team under each state will check all your academic credentials for the category you applied for. This doesn’t mean your course has to match with catgory you applied for. It means you must be a graduate (NCE, ND, HND, Bsc, MA, LLB, NABTEB) to take part and you must credential backing for what you claimed.
2017 N-Power Deployment Guide
N-power will after the verification, instruct all successful candidates to visit their state of residence and the claimed local government for placement. These applicants will report and be placed to sectors they applied for i.e Health, Agro or Teach.
Meanwhile, N-TAX is different. The successful applicants under TAX will be called for interview at Ministry of Finance Abuja. After which they will be placed for work.

REMAINDER
On what next after the N-Power programme.
Let us try to provide some insight.
As an existing beneficiary, N-Power hopes that in two years, you would have honed enough skills to strike out on your own or be an employer of labour.
You may say that is not easy but the truth is you must have a plan, all beneficiaries know this is for 2 years so you must begin with a plan.
The devices have also been preloaded with over 1 million resources that will sharpen your skills and expose you to new ones.
After two years, you have the knowledge and hopefully some savings to push on. We are not afraid. We believe that an N-Power Volunteer is one who isn't afraid to learn new things and one who is also prepared for the future.
You will all outgrow this platform. You will do well because you are all intelligent people.
Others who will come after you will learn from you how to make the most of the time at N-Power.
Start something today, start that fish farm in your backyard, start a co-operative with other N-Power volunteers, look at your community and think up solutions to the issues.
You are Nigerian and you are #NPowered

Good News to Npower Applicants!

Mr Afolabi Imoukhuede, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Job Creation, last night on Nigeria Info 95.1 Abuja addressed some issues pertaining npower. Some of the questions his responded to are about invalid and ongoing validation of BVN, attempt of STEM test and so on.

♦INVALID- this means your journey on npower has come to end. Your details did not tally with your BVN.
♦VALIDATION IS ONGOING, CHECK LATER- it simply means there is still hope, howver, you can still send your BVN and other details to any of npower helplines for quick BVN validation.
♦STEM TEST - it is not compulsory even if you selected a skill during registration. Not attempting the STEM questions won't affect your test. lt is optional.
♦NPOWER DEVICES- Npower devices come with trackers. Everyone knows the implications of trackers. Collection of devices for 2016 npower volunteers would soon commence nationwide.

BREAKING ON DEVICE COLLECTION

Lagos and Abuja, some people in Lagos have gotten SMS this morning in terms of them coming to pick up. And so at last night, the last meeting we had those who have been marked will go to lick up centers for example ought to have receive SMS to go there.

Every device for batch A except tecno and speedstar. Tecno is coming towards August but speedstar just delivered, they have not offloaded but they have reached the warehouse, imagine all that journey you saw in the video hasn't even started.

Others like Samsung, floss, Afrione e.t.c have left warehouse and have been taken to pick up centres and they are partnering with MTN. So the devices for Lagos Abuja batch A are already with MTN But no update for other states yet.

From Mr. Afolabi
