Recently, such a strange experiment has emerged in America. Many organic dairy farmers make a big hole in the body of cows under this experiment.

The purpose of making this pit in the cow's belly is quite clear. By this the scientists can find out about the digestive process of the cow. In case of illness, the drugs can be given to the cow through direct stomach. Microns in the stomach of these fistulated cows are transferred to other animals after testing.



But many people also criticize this process. This process of exposing a part of the cow's body and exposing the sensitive part of their stomach has been in vogue for some time now. Although many people believe that this surgery does not harm the cow, but the cough remains uncomfortable for 4-6 weeks of surgery.



Critics of this process only see it as the benefit of meats and dairy companies. Despite this, the process has been considered a way of sustainable farming for some time now.



Critics also say that the Federal Animal Welfare Act in the United States is the only law that is made for the rights of animals being tested. But these laws do not apply to animals like cow, which come in the fields of farming. It is clear that these fistulated cows have no legal protections to deal with cruelty.

Actually it will not hurt the cow as time goes on. What they did is to create a hole on the skin of the cow and also make a hole on part of the circumference of the bowel, the large intestine then sutures this opening with the hole on the skin. The waste can pass into the anus and at the same time the farmer can have access to the bowel.
Similar thing is done for humans in the hospital. It is called colostomy where the large intestine is divided and the two ends are connected to an opening on the skin. This is usu done in patient who is to have surgery of the intestine, lower to the area where the colostomy is placed. This waste in this patient comes out via this opening on the skin. This helps keep the area to be operated free of faecal matter.
There was a Fulani man that went away with the fistula without coming back for the surgery and the correction of the colostomy.
