Before the advent of pentecostalism ,churches were founded solely on doctrinal differences,but the comming of pentecostalism has led to the proliferation of churches with each founder claiming God has commanded him to go and form a church.

The questions I am asking are these

1where is this sort of thing practised in the bible

2.did Peter,Paul and other apostles belong to differant churches?

3.Is it possible for pentecostals to unite to form one single church since they all have practically the same doctrines?

I realy think churches would fare much better if better controls are in place than in this present state of anarchy where everyone claims God has asked him to go and form a church

What you fail to realize is that most pentecostal churches are one man shows established for the sole benefit of it's promoters. They see there churches more as their personal business though they claim to be spreading the "gospel"> asking them to unite would be akin to tell them to give up all the filthy lucre they rake in through their business churches i don't they would be ready to give up such a lucrative "calling"

To summarize: The Pentecostals fail to understand that Satan is quite able to produce "signs and wonders" to mislead even the elect (Matt. 24:24) and create the illusion of spiritual good to achieve his evil ends. This lying spirit can produce psuedo-virtues — "love," "patience," "joy," "hope," and "peace," etc. — for he is the Great Deceiver. That such so-called virtues are not grounded in faith and obedience to Apostolic doctrine and authority but mask spiritual pride and spiritual greed. The Gospel makes clear that Satan and his fallen angels have the power to twist the truth, to confuse, to caricature, to mimic God's works, and to appear as an "angel of light." (2 Cor. 4:3f.)

stop being jealous because you can't spread the word of God from the comfort of a private jet.

I am waiting for "bible beleiveing" christians to biblically justify the claim that God can just call anyone to go and form a church.

The pentecostal movement started in the US but so far has failed to make any appreciable impact on the american christian community as thy still constitute less than 5% of the american population.I has also not made any impact in europe and other developed countries of the world

It is growing in africa because of the high rate of ilitteracy and poverty.While anyone can worship in whatever way one likes,the idea of family churches is ridiculous and may ultimately destroy the christian faith if not checked
