The more I surf the Internet, the more I feel disgusted and ashamed to be in the same age category with those who actually should know better than promoting the discourse of hate and disunity in Nigeria.

We are almost getting to a state of no return with the myopic and pedestal thinking of some of my millennia, which has become a cause for concern and worry.

I was in a gathering on Monday, where former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu speech served as a wake up call to me instead of frowning at his speech, as you certainly can't dissociate Kalu from the so called one percent elites that has held the county at the jugular.

Kalu was of the opinion that the masses, hold the key to Nigeria greatness and not the so called power blocs.

Having had to grow up in a self-styled mini barrack in the Ketu area of Lagos State, sharing the same bed, plate, spoon with almost all the major tribe in Nigeria, I have refuse to join and share the same mentality with online riff-raff and clowns that precious time spent on conjuring hate writings, could be used in thinking about bettering the country, it populace and image.

On Monday, I reprimanded and made sure a Yoruba okada rider promised never to label other tribes as not worth associating with.

Those paying homage and following Nnamdi Kanu, have forgotten that the self-styled Igbo Supreme Leader, would bolt whenever the going get tough. The guy has nothing to lose, nor does he have anything worth dying for in Nigeria.

Those also at the north demanding that Igbos should vacate from their land, need know that the survival and continue flourishing of Northern Nigeria, largely depend on the continuous existence and economical viability of Southern Nigeria.

The amalgamation of North and South Nigeria, by Lord Lugard and his girlfriend, outrightly should be rejected by any thinking human beings, due to the difference of every region, but we need to know that Lugard action may be detestable and condemnable, his amalgamating the north and southern protectorate has done more good than bad to the regions and Africa as a whole.

What makes us tick, is what binds us together.

Nigeria is due for restructuring and not breakup. Nigeria is due for love, affection and not hate.

The jibiti that has continued to be played on us by the elites, affects not The Igbos or youths alone, but the whole masses as a whole.

The hate speech need to stop. even if a lasting solution would be found to the quagmire, we certainly have set in a motion of hate and disunity in the society, which certainly has been picked up by the upcoming generation.

My generation already is becoming a waste. It almost moving into the abyss and not to be seem anymore.

Nnamdi Kanu children are not in Nigeria. Even if they are; his child would not share the same space with Ebuka, the gardener's son or Alice, the cleaner's daughter.

Yes, I am tired and disappointed with the way Nigeria is. I am frustrated and regretting why I never left thought about the country. but we can make things better, make it work, if we come together.

Change can manifest only if the masses, not the elites work towards it.

I want a country, where I wouldn't be afraid to go out. I want a country where I can visit Kano or Imo State and not be afraid of being attacked by deluded fellows. I want a country where my neighbours would be an Hausa, Ebira or Igbos and we share so many things together. Want a country where my future offerings would have the sweet and eventful childhood experiences made possible by Pius Peter, Babangida, Dayo, Emeka, Wale, Nndubusi, Alex etc.

In as much I hate the name Nigeria, (Land of the Blacks) i believe my millennia still hold the key to making Nigeria great and surely can make it happen if we are together.

We are the youths of Nigeria; the greatest and best country in the world.

We are the youths of Nigeria; the most endowed and educated country in the world.

We have bright and intelligent dudes, who can take us to greater height.

Let forget and do away with old-cargo writers who think they own us. Let frown and bark at those whose intention is to divide us. Lets also hold hands and make Nigeria great.

Let come together and act like the champion we were born to be.

The worst thing in life is for someone to see the truth and keep lying to themselves just like the man above. The name 'Nigerian' does not mean anything to an Igbo man like me unless I willingly accept it.

Wishing for Igbo/Yoruba/Hausa to come together and love each other in other to build a better Nigeria is like hoping to mix water, oil and cream in other to get Egusi soup. It will never happen. Unity cannot be forced, it must be willingly accepted. If unity is forced, as is the case of Nigeria, no progress will be made or sustained.

The fact that the British brought us all together does not make us brothers or one nation. It just makes some of us prisoners. There is nothing wrong with hoping for a united prosperous Nigeria. But there is an extent of hoping before hope turns to foolishness.

103 years as a country and 56 years of independence, what did we achieve? Massive corruption, incompetence, one civil war, millions dead, high unemployment, sectarian violence, Boko Haram, Herdsmen killings, IPOB shootings...

I could go on and on. So what is the point of 'one Nigeria' when Nigeria is a faliure? Is it not better to break Nigeria up into component parts that can work rather than a huge structure that has never worked?

Lets all admit that Lord Lugards experiment called Nigeria has been a disasterous faliure and go our different ways instead of hoping for a unity that will never happen

I certainly do not understand where people get their reasoning from or whether they really understand the fundamentals of unbundling Nigeria. It's not a call to make others your enemies neither is it a call for you not to " share plates, bed...." with those you have always shared with.
It is a call to make the geographical space working in socioeconomic terms.
Forget any story being told Nigeria as it is will never work. For instance if each state was to generate its own electricity 80% would have had constant electricity.

The reasoning such as above only motivated by either being a beneficiary of the current system or a lazy attitude or both.
I remember back then as students the lazy ones always oppose dividing work into individual portions for each student preferring to work as group.
Enough of this war talk and trying to create enmity where there's none.
There are many countries in Africa and the world. We still eat the same plate with out Ghanaian friends and sleep in the same bed with American friends. That is if ever they were rea friends. It remain all the same when Nigeria breaks.

Nigeria is not working and its not why Igbos want out, those selfish pricks can gerrarahere for all i care. They too want to partake in the macabre dance of Aso Rock foolery.

Nigeria isn't working as currently structured where a certificateless cattle rearer can be president leading a complex 21st century developing nation its laughable.

Nigeria isn't working because everybody is running to Abuja for their selfish interests. The presidency has a lot of powers that needs to be devolved to states to develop at their own pace. No more one Nigerian slogans instead forward Anambra, ahead Lagos, united Kano, prosperous Rivers, etc.

The Nigerian Govt was able to wage a highly sophisticated propaganda hate machinery against the Igbos in order to rally support among Nigerians to fight a very un-civil war.

The Nigerian News network and that of Radio Nigeria broadcast hate speech in the form of an opening montage for their news sessions.

The theme song for NTA back then was sang in Hausa degenerating the Igbos with phrases like "we will defile their women", "we shall avenge each of our murdered brothers with a thousand of their men".

The hate propaganda against the Igbos was a rallying point of all Nigerinas to be reunited in a quest to punish and forcefully re-annex the new Nation state of Biafra back into the colonial contraption.

The propaganda machinery had its headquarters in both London (BBC Hausa service) and Radio Nigeria (based in Lagos).

At the end of the war the propaganda against the Igbo was officially discontinued by the Federal Govt but the hate filled Yorubas who had grown accustomed to listening to hate speech against Igbos continued propagating that hatred through their children till this.

If you must speak of hate then ask your fathers and mothers why omo Igbo is such a Taboo.
