I've seen you guys talking about M-cards and how prone they are to virus.

I used to get memory from any random stores and in the end they get corrupted, but ever since I came across one in Jos, the story has been different.

I've used one for 3 years before it was stolen then another one for 3 years and it was recently stolen with my phone, I had never had any problems with them, no virus, nothing.

Inbuilt memory also has its disadvantages. Once the phone is dead, all the files inside are gone too.



Memory card to the best of my knowledge does not slow phone down if you use the recommended size and class for the phone.

So let's say for instance you download Dropbox onto your phone t save your photos, videos and other stuff. If your phone dies and you have to buy a new one. you just download Dropbox again on to your new phone. You enter your password and email address that you used in registering for Dropbox and all your files will be retrieved. It's really simple.

dear i didnt sync it else would be complaining of my unlimited data lol, beside have been using memory card from nokia n97 follow come soooooo yeah dont know about that, plus once in a blue moon when am on laptop n my pone is connected i simply copy n paste for update no cost needed, all this drop box n carry basket are data eater well since u dey on unlimited plan, carry go nothing do u.

Maybe you have too many files on your computer or maybe you need to clear your "History", "cookies" or "cache" try these methods first. You have videos saved onto your computer? Delete any files on your laptop that you don't use because of it maybe one of the things weighing your computer down.

mmc has done me strong thing too. In my own case, alot of my photos and videos are not accessible any more, and the card sometimes freezes the phone. I run my phone without a memory card now. I just transfer my content to my laptop.

It's an original sandisk card. It did not even last up to 6 months.

In the developed part of the world you re referring to classified documents and information is still being stored on external storage devices like sd card, flash drive etc. Cloud storage is not safe cos the host of that ur cloud network can access ur file at any time and even hackers can do same. Just use sd card that is commensurate with ur devices capacity and install very good anti virus u will be safe bro.....Thanks

used google drive a few years bacK. It took almost an hour to upload a 70mb file. Idk uploading is slower than downloading.

Dont forget u still need data to acess those files... Imagine uploading a 1gb file today n because u wanna acess them tomorrow ull spend another 1gb data to access them. Ull keep burning 1gb data to acess them.

And remember if youre in a location with poor internet your cloud based files are gone..

Been using an sd card for about 2 years now, ive never had any issues.. My phone spoilt recently, all the files on the sd card were still intact while everything on the internal storage is gone.

The only time i had issues with a memory card was when i slotted a 32gb sd on a phone that couldnt accept more than 16gb...

also cloud storage isnt cheap... Google drive offers free 3gb cloud based storage, the rest you have to pay for.. So imagine paying to get more storage space and still using data to upload and access your files.. This isnt cheap..

Google offers unlimited storage for users to upload their photos at the expense of it being compressed... I actually use this feature when im connected to a wifi network or theres a network cheat. Minus that i avoid cloud storage....

Also virus isnt dependent on sd card...


The reason nobody uses cloud storage in nigeria is the same reason music streaming apps arent popular here... DATA
