Until I met a man of another religion that says man is a soul. I put up an argument and he made reference to the bible, that even in my bible it is there.

Genesis 2:7
    And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Question: Is man a soul  or a spirit?

Anway to address your post, why don't you define "soul" and "spirit' first? from my experience most people can't seem to differentiate between the two.

I see what you're trying to say, but even within your own paradigm you are wrong.  There is bone inside too.  So you should say that man is flesh and bone.

If the bible says Man became a living Soul , then Man is a soul

Can you site categoricaly where in the bible it says Man is a spirit? I Know it says God is a spirit.
