I work in web space and social networks and what he meant to say was that they need to rebrand

People associate that name with public school students so for ten to attract these guys who are now in University or who have graduated

They need to rebrand totally ...

But since it's not a Nigerian oriented market app they wont
So trust me they can't gain any market share again.

Telegram messenger is way better than WhatsApp but since people are struck with inertia, WhatsApp remains the king.It has a perfectly inelastic user patronage.2go may be lighter and better,at least you don't have to let everyone know your number,or everyone know you are online,but trust me popularity and not features help social networks and messaging apps to gain more users and market share.If it was solely based on features,Telegram will be the most used messaging app.
