I Believe He is now working for Some Politician,He also made similar threat before the 2015 General elections which lead to many Igbo not Voting and at the end of the Day,BUHARI won

which leads me to the Question, who is kanu working for, this is only a plan to make rigging the Election very easy for them, ask yourself

without the Election they plant their Person At Awka Government House,Anambrarians will Protest maybe once or Twice then go back to their Normal business

if kanu is Very serious about Referendum,he should stop Abia state Government from recieving Abuja Money

atleast,he is in Umuahia,he is only a stone throw from Abia Government house

Elections Must hold in Anambra state,PERIOD

Do you Know Kanu Was a Card carrying Member of Massob, what do you think Caused the Rift Between Uwazurike and Kanu?

Answer-Kanu was/is an Opportunist,he wanted to Take over Massob under Uwazurike's Nose,he was Disgraced and chased away from Massob then he later Went to create his IPOB

kanu will sell you without thinking twice

This is silly, The boycott is only starting with Anambra because Anambra is the first election to come in this era, if it were Abia or any other SE state coming up first, the same would have started there.

People should stop stoking up petty sentiments. Don't allow enemies of Ndiigbo use you to divide us, we are stronger together.
Our unity scares them.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around how that will favour us. But it would mean we are doing things differently.

We want Biafra, any elected governor or public servant takes an oath to preserve Nigerian unity as it is currently constituted .

By voting for them, it simply means we are giving them power to preserve Nigeria.

Which is exactly what we don't want.

This is part of the reasons IPOB had refused to get involved in Nigerian politics, like some of us, including myself had suggested they do.

Asking ppl not to vote while we keep pursuing our Biafra is quite thoughtless of kanu BC it will lead to APC winning the entire South east which will be bad.

Kanu shld learn to consult widely before coming up with such major decisions. Kanu shld rather preach support for APGA

Igbos shouldn't allow themselves to be played like a guitar by anybody.
What will boycotting the election stand to achieve?
After boycotting it and the FG decides to boycott the monthly allocation Anambra gets, what will you now do?
Do not let one -man's ill thought-out selfish idea to deceive you and plunge a state that is currently positively developing into chaos and confusion.
What next? That Igbos should stop paying Taxes to FG or stop going to work?
This is a complete recipe for disaster.
Igbos should be wise.

My take as a Biafran

Credibility of elections is to a large extent hinged on voter turn out. If the Anambra electorate to a large extent, decide to boycott the elections, who ever wins will have no credibility. It will also send a strong signal to the Nigerian Government and the international community that Biafrans have started to disengage from the politics of Nigeria. Election boycott is a strong and potent weapon.

Im an Anambra man and I support the boycott even though I think Obiano deserves a second term based on perfotmance. However, my desire is Biafra

Where in the world has an election boycott led to the actualisation of a new country? Also who is the International Community that is coming to enforce Biafras separation from Nigeria.? The boycott will only serve to install your political structure without your people having a say in your affairs. Another own goal by IPOB.

Sorry for that insult

I wonder why boycolting of election has became tussling issue and topic of agreed and disagreed recently in IPOB movement, #Nnamdikanu is always right in his decision. I am One of people who disagreed on this issue of boycolting election but i later join him after understanding the power of civil disobedient on our last "sit at home" excercise. i wonder why people cannot see that "civil disobedience" is a great and effective tool for agitation especially when agitating on a separate republic. How can you be agitating for a separate country and at the same time still go ahead to vote someone who will swear on oath to abide by the rules and constitution and to uphold the unity of that country?. For crying out loud incase you thinks, Nnamdikanu is taking it too far as extremist, he has never ask us to carry arms yet, though we may need arms if Nigeria govt push us to that but for now, we are still on civil disobedience to excercise our fudamental human rights. Remember those hausas and yorubas who are calling you sense-less fools by trying to boycolt election will still come out oneday of your agitations to tell or ask you, "no be you vote your representatives in election?. For those who are saying whether we participated or not, there gonna-be an emerging winner at the end of voting excercise even if it is only one person that voted, who cares naa?. At least there's 25% electoral turn-up expected and it is a must for every winner in Zoo electoral system which we are gonna deny them that day. 18 November is D-day in Anambra state gubernatorial election abi selection, We will boycolt and girlcolt everything boycoltable. Period!. All hail #Biafra
