Fly, fly, fly,
Out of your shell,
And into the sky,

Crooked wings, Wet and clammy,
Unsteady legs, Weak and new,
Wide eyes fearful, fluttery tummy,
Tunnel vision, into the blue


Fall, face first forward,
Each time that you try,
Beneath the watch,
Of one very wary eye

Nose in the sand, Few times too many,
Come out resolved, And character built,
Determination sold, for a cursory penny,
A shower of praise, A solidarity quilt


The sky's still waiting,
Waiting way up high,
Trust in its shimmers,
It's your destiny to fly
