The Sack Of Burden by Nobody: 5:02pm On Jan 27, 2010
There are times we are faced with guilt,
It’s the kind of guilt that doesn’t just go away.
No matter how hard we try for it to disappear.
And all we end up doing is to live with it.

It tears us up and impairs our daily life.
We carry it around like a big sack of pebbles,
And we weigh ourselves down with its weight.
And make ourselves do things without a clear mind.

When guilt rules the life of an individual,
He becomes a shadow of his cheerful self.
Everyone noticed but kept their opinion inside,
For they know not what worm it might open.

Set yourself free and cast away that burden.
God can do it for us only when we ask him.
The deed has been done and should be forgotten,
Even as hard it may seem to those concerned.

Seek forgiveness where necessary and important.
Otherwise lay it open and seek guidance.
Write it out and put in a bottle with a cork,
Throw it in the ocean and let the wave take it.
