Sometime in 2016, we told you there was going to be a movie based on Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s book ‘The Thing Around Your Neck‘ The Thing Around Your Neck is a short story collection by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and she had granted Ghanaian filmmaker, Akosua Adoma Owusu exclusive rights to adapt her short story On Monday of Last Week from her 2009 published collection.
