I had the same issue with my Infinix note 3 pro and resetting the camera solved everything.

It's called lateral inversion, go to the barber's shop , check out your image between 2mirrors.

Change to front camera as if you want to take a selfie, go to settings and turn off front mirror. The picture will display as if you used the back camera.

I always noticed that whenever I took any picture, the camera will display the letters and numbers of the particular image upside-down or backward without turning the particular image upside down,




I don't know whether anyone grab what I'm trying to insinuate,



Okay for example, you can check the following image


Picture 1: the actual word on that particular top is HBA, but the camera display it backward, now my question is this,



Why is it that the camera didn't display my face or my chest or even my shirt upside-down, that it only changes the letters upside down,



Picture 2: As you can all see, the words and numbers written on that Automatic Voltage Stabilizer are all upside-down , without the stabilizer itself been upside down,




Please I don't really understand this, can anyone enlight me in a simple way so that I can understand better??

Any phone camera is like a mirror bro. Now in physics,the image formed by a plain mirror is virtual(meaning it's not real and light rays do not actually come from the image) in optics, a virtual image is an image formed when an outgoing rays from a point to an object which always diverge. Op have you noticed that if you snap with your right it shows it as if u used ur left? It inverts the picture... it is the same thing that applies to ur eyes when dey look at the mirror
