The past week has been all fanfare for the people of Idum Mbube in Ogoja LGA of Cross River State. The preparations reached a peak with the arrival of the groom and his visit to over 50 families related to the bride. The D day was really dramatic, It started with a novelty match that morning involving Ahmed and some pros with the village boys after which he made a handsome donation to the village club. Members of the Armed forces and road safety were among the over 500 cars in the convoy. The hausa community in Ogoja was also well represented. More details after the cut
