On Thursday 29th June, some representatives of Towards a greater Nigeria (A group of Nigerian Students in China initiative) visited Government Primary School, Uke, Nasarawa state to associate ourselves with the students by inculcating in them the basic societal core values and gift items were also given to the students.
One of the speakers Flyca encouraged the students to have integrity, to be patriotic, seek for knowledge and ensure peaceful coexistence among one another irrespective of religious or tribal difference.
More so, gift items of school bags, pair of sandals, 10 dozens of exercise books, sport kits, stationeries etc worth almost 100,000 naira were presented to the students. At the end of the day, the students were all excited and promised to be better Nigerians.
We at TAG-N believe that helping few people may not change the world but it will definitely change the world for few people. For this reason, we are trying in our own little way to contribute towards the greatness of the fatherland by donating a small portion of our stipends towards this cause. Our focus is mainly in education and human capacity development.
