I dont see how Yorubas can ever get Oduduwa Republic. Not only are Yorubas trapped in the slave mentality called 'one Nigeria', they do not have any fight in them. The people who should be talking about leaving Nigeria are those who have proved in the past that they are not afraid to fight for their freedom. People like the Igbos.

The only statement Awolowo made was this "if this people (referring to the Ibos) should form their own country, then the yorubas would also become a separate country".

Awolowo never wanted Northern Nigeria to be joined with Southern Nigeria, it was Nnamdi Azikwe that championed the one Nigeria thing.

We are a republic not a parliamentarian governing country. Our senators through the request of their respective constituencies, will discuss and debate on if there is any such need for a discussion on the way forward for the South Eastern question. There is no mention of a referendum in our constitution. FFK should brush up on his knowledge of the Nigerian constitution.

Anyway,why wait till six months before declaring your Oduduwa after Biafra declaration eehn?
The same this Awolowo did and deceived the then Biafra military authority and was released from Calabar prison where he was locked up for treason.After his release he went back to the West as a hero and aligned with the Nigerian government to carry out blockade that saw millions of women and children to early grave.
Even though I'm against Nnamdi Kanu's agitation for Biafra, he should mind who he make friends with.

They don't clap for mosquito because he knows how to sing,its because they are targeting to kill him.
When the stage is set people like FFK will fall back to his root.
