It is with moral decorum and unbiased reportage, that i call to question, CNN's Richard Quest Business Traveller's terrible depiction of Nigeria's Eco-climate. In Quest's latest business show, the English reporter focused on the Nigerian business climate. His show was inaccurate, myopic, untruthful, but worse was sectoral. Either by design or by error, the host painted the economic sector has been dominated and facilitated by the South West. He supposedly interviewed the movers and shakers of the business sector. All the CEO's and proprietors were all suspiciously from the Southwest.
Starting with Lai Mohammed and moving to Mo Abudu and Nike studios, only one or two individuals were not of the southwest.
I believe this is wrong and does serious damage to business savvy investors who are interested in Nigeria and those already operating in Nigeria. It could also bring about friction within the country.
If Nigeria really wants to grow and bring forth prosperity by bringing in foreign investments, then it has to do so by equitably presenting the SWOT capabilities of all the tribes that makeup Nigeria.
In the future such a mistake shouldnt occur

Is south west no longer part of Nigeria? You think smart people and nations do federal character, they go for excellence and they can only find it down in south west.

Richard Quest, CNN Reporter, Arrested On Drug Charges
Huffington Post via New York Times/City Room

***UPDATE***
The New York Post reports on new, lurid details regarding the arrest of CNN reporter Richard Quest.

CNN personality Richard Quest was busted in Central Park early yesterday with some drugs in his pocket, a rope around his neck that was tied to his genitals, and a intimacy gadget in his boot, law-enforcement sources said.[...]

Quest was initially busted for loitering, the source said. Aside from the oddly configured rope, the search also turned up a intimacy gadget inside of his boot, and a small bag of methamphetamine in his left jacket pocket.

It wasn’t immediately clear what the rope was for.

The New York Times‘ City Room blog reports that CNN International business and travel reporter Richard Quest has been arrested on drug charges:

Mr. Quest was arrested early Friday morning after being escorted out of Central Park for violating the park curfew, a law enforcement official said Friday. The park is closed from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m.

The police noticed Mr. Quest at 64th Street and West Drive at about 3:40 a.m., the official said. As he was being escorted out, he volunteered, “I have meth in my pocket,” according to an official briefed on the case. The police searched him and recovered a small amount of methamphetamine in a Ziploc bag.

CNN is a reputable and respected News network. The only error of Quest was probably laziness and unprofessional behaviour. Quest was misled by scrupulous dubious Nigerians

CNN has the worst ratings so far in the US and everyone knows they regularly create fake news out of thin air or stage fake news.

CNN is not what you think it is.

CNN is an appendage of the deep state and one of the greatest mass hypnotic brain washing project on a global scale.

CNN has its origins form the Frankfurt School of mass indoctrination into multiculturalism and the destruction of the morality code.

This is why they have more fagg0ts pushing a fagg0t agenda daily down our throats to the point that we now consider fagg0try as normal.

It goes deeper but I will advice you to google "Multiculturalism and the Frankfurt School"

but he is right now Yorubas are genuine entrepreneurs they are formidable CEO controlling most blue chip comanies in nigeria . agreed igbos are industrious most of their job are clearing and forwarding import and exporters of second class goods. but yorubas are the Lords of business that are listed on the floor of the stock exchange . Go to Marina on The Nigeria stock exchange house. u will see Yorubas in the building i have couple of friends in the stock exchange house .they determine market share and understand nigeria economic dynamic. forget it this are the people Richard Quest speaks to . They are corporate businessmen not hustlers who do not understand market economy .

Isn't it a pity that someone raised a valid point, but all these tribal irridentists, who view the world through warped prisims painted in their tribe's colours, could do was to begin to say how excellence can only be found in their region?

Shame!

The SW says it's just them, the SE says it's just them, the N says it's just them. Who do we now believe?

Excellence can be found everywhere in Nigeria; it's an individual thing. There are CEOs of different tribal orgina doing well all over Nigeria. I guess that's what Maupe was trying to say when she started this thread.

But, of course, we have to buy into the confused White man's narrative, just to boost our egoes.

Sometimes you just wish this country divides so people cab stop thinking tribalism all the time.

Amanapour should keep shut, is it Yorubas fault that we dominate the various sectors of the nation's commerce, art and entertainment, does she expect Quest to go to Alaba market to interview street hustlers, kano to meet the farmers, Onitsha to meet traders.

Lagos is the economic capital of nigeria and it's also a yoruba city, abandoning the movers and shakers of the various industries for triviality is bullshit.
