Lool...

The OP seems livid, probably because he was affected by the flood.

On a serious note, though, Lagos is a great city, at least, by Nigerian standards. However, it's not up there with those cities the OP mentioned. In terms of revenue, maybe, yes, but in terms of planning, neatness, structures, security, no, I don't think so.

There's more to the big cities of the world than the amount of money they generate.

This is not always the case. Something is wrong somewhere, maybe a blocked drainage. Concerned authorities should do the needful.

We need something like the Tokyo drainage system in Lagos. Perhaps a scaled down version.

I think with your statement here you are already tagging Lagos as Yoruba's land undecided this is wrong Lagos remains a no man's land and hence we all are in this mess together.

Bottom line is Nigeria must wake up. Lagos is still the best state in Nigeria. Even FCT that isn't a state, without Abuja, it is dry.

Because they suffer from not only floods but erosion. The erosion is a sign of hell trying to reclaim the east and take it back to where it belongs. Can't you see all that deep red dirt in the east?

don't mind the mumu OP.

The place mostly affected are on the Island and it's due to the fact that the sea is close by. However, the mainland pictures is defintely due to poor drainage which affects all cities in Nigeria.

Here are the top 20 most vulnerable cities:

1. Guangzhou, China

2. Mumbai, India

3. Kolkata, India

4. Guayaquil, Ecuador

5. Shenzen, China

6. Miami, Fla.

7. Tianjin, China

8. New York, N.Y.—Newark, N.J.

9. Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

10. New Orleans, La.

11. Jakarta, Indonesia

12. Abidjan, Ivory Coast

13. Chennai, India

14. Surat, India

15. Zhanjiang, China

16. Tampa—St. Petersburg, Fla.

17. Boston, Mass.

18. Bangkok, Thailand

19. Xiamen, China

20. Nagoya, Japa

Do you even remember that huricane katrina flood wipped out Louisiana of the USA? should we say America is over rated? whether na rain or hurricane, all na water log and flash floods. On the top list, most of the cities that are vulnerable to flooding are cities that are by the sea and that includes LAGOS. so OP use your brain.

people just up with trash.

There are more Anambra landlords in Lagos than Osun landlords yet you prefer to occupy all the slums in Lagos rather than go back to your slummy Ogbomosho where flying poo and skull miners is the order the day.

The guy is only telling u to leave lagos if u think its overrated na and u started posting pictures...if u no like a place, sebi u wont associate urself with the place na....
