The Ancient Of Days is God Almighty and a Spirit, so, even though you saw Him flesh, He is a Spirit. He appears and disappears whenever He wants. He is in heaven, on earth, sea and everywhere the same time. He became invincible so that humans can accord the Christ the respect He deserves.

Even Our Lord Jesus Christ asked His Father in John 17 to glorify Him on earth. Now, the fulfillment of that request was what Daniel saw in the Spirit when he saw the Ancient Of Days glorifying His Christ on earth while the earthly govts are still in place.
