If you are a Christian, are you denying that you have never attempted exams questions in CRK in your primary and secondary school days - about Islam or religions other than Christianity?

Questions like: Who founded Islam? Allah is to which religion? Even about our traditional religion and so on?

The exams questions displayed by Op is quite normal. It is within the scope of religion. It's unfortunate that Nigerians have this partisan attitudes and see everything wrong in national issues as opposed to their personal interest.

You cannot say anything here if you don't know what is contained in the syllabus. I have corrected and vetted questions that were to be written by Muslim students of a purely Islamic school. The subject was World History. And the questions contained a lot of questions on Jesus Christ and Christianity. I asked or the syllabus and saw they actually did some work on Christianity. This is a purely Islamic school through and through.

In my church, before being baptized, we spend two years in a catchesim class. We learn about major religions, including Islam. For you to be baptized, you must have a basic knowledge of Islam and other religions as well.

Religious studies is different from being religious. You study it to understand what it is all about,not to indoctrinated. We live in a very religious sensitive country, it will never make sense for the authorities to bring the two subjects together. The two have been taught separately before and there hasn't been a problem, why merge them now in a time when the country has serious divisions from head downwards? You shouldn't force your opinion on people, you should sample their own opinion and let decisions be taken on a general consensus.

People should not conclude on matters they knw not. For info, the scheme of religious study in Aks has a content whc relate d 2 religions and dats " Christianity And Islam as it originate from Abraham".
