Wake up from thy slumber o youths of Nigeria........
[13/7/2017]

Dear Nigerian Youths,

It is quite unfortunate and disheartening that you are at loggerheads with the future of this country.

While you fold your arms and watch, the old brains are driving the affairs of the nation into mud.

While you sit back and do nothing, they wheel the country's economy to zero, they fill their pockets.

While you are in pursuit of quick money and easy life, the country's pride is going into shambles.

You decided not to interfere saying the system is designed against the youths, but who is to redesign?

Whereas many of these psychopaths took the mantle of leadership in their youthful days.

Young man, while you are at bet shops, while you are busy sagging your pants, the old ones in government are happy at your lust and non chalant attitude.

Young lady, while you are busy slaying on social medias, the old ones in government are giggling at your distraction and ignorance.

For how long do we continue to smile in hardships?

For how long do we continue to suffer in silence?

Like dogs we are chained and fed with bones from their children's leftover meal.

They jest in their parlour at how the country suffers famine.

They mock when you lobby for help from them.

Yet we continue to celebrate mediocrity..

Now is the time break the silence.

This is a wake up call o youth.

Wake up from thy slumber.

It is now or never.

It is time to say no to the oppressors.

You are not too young to serve/rule your fatherland.

Yes you can.

Arise.

Arise and save thy country......
