10 Signs That Your Spouse May Be Cheating On You by efoghorjos: 2:48pm On Feb 04, 2010
My friend bumped into my office sobbing and looking so pale and fatigued. “What is the matter?” I had asked her. “I think my husband is cheating on me” she replied as she tried to wipe her eyes dry. That is one of the commonest complains you hear from married couples or even from those intending to marry. How do we know or what should be the warning light that our spouse may be cheating on us?
1. Lateness from office: Your spouse has a predictable time schedule and maintains a fairly regular time of arriving from the office. But if this time table suddenly begins to change and he now comes back home late more often, it is a warning sign he might be cheating on you. It’s possible he is seeing another woman
2. Lying: If your spouse begins to lie about appointments or events it is an indication he might be cheating on you. If your spouse tells you for instance he was with his mother or a friend at a particular time and you later find out he lied you should suspect he’s having an affair outside.
3. Answering his phones in a secretive manner: When your partner suddenly becomes so private about answering his phones or prevents you from touching his phones, he’s hiding something from you.
4. Secret bank withdrawals: Withdrawing money secretly from the family bank account without a tangible reason for doing so may also mean he is taking care of someone else besides you.
5. Giving you a mistaken identity: If your spouse ever mistakenly called you another woman’s name or the other way round, suspect your spouse is seeing someone else.
