Amberon11: What manner of creature are u?! Can u just sdfu! I was born a xtian n presently dont practice any form of religious worship. But, u cant just be objective! Ur hate as a supposed xtian isnt surprising, hypocrisy is inbedded in all. Ur Jesus walked with d samaritans, but u're here hating? What happened to, loving ur neighbour as ur self? What happened to turning d right cheek? I dont even think u understand what ur religion entails, talkless of understanding a rival religion. |

ashjay001: Is the bold an excuse to support barbarity ? "All" Nigerian politicians embezzle state funds so let us stop complaining about it. |

Most of these women are dying inside, they can't complain for fear of death or imprisonment or ostracisation by the society and some fellow brainwashed women. If only oil wasn't discovered. |

ivolt: Nigerian politicians, have a choice. Babies have no say in which religion they're birthed! Both situations are incomparable! U can decide not to become a politician! Infact, many of us decided not to be a politician, because of d violence involved, can a baby decide not to be given birth into a war zone? |

ashjay001: My comparison is apt. This isn't about choice, the woman referenced by the OP had a choice!. The problem is that you are justifying an evil act because everybody is allegedly a perpetrator. A wrongdoing is not defined by the perpetrator or the victim but by the very act itself. |

ivolt: Hmmm.... Comparison apt ke? Comparing a fresh babe to a world travelled looter? Wehdone Sir Over d years, we've had several instances of ladies escaping d clutches of islam?! Janet Jackson, a case in point. If someone like u had to work in dubai, it would be a crime for u to run foul their laws. Would u now term it being forced? They same way u'll expect a visitor to adhere to ur laws, in ur home. U dont have to support a view point to respect it!? |

peteregwu:Its mind boggling, honestly. Lets for the purpose of this discussion assume that its bad to admire women, whether sexually or aesthetically (even withoyt the intent to harm them). Religion always talks about free will. Why should women have to be the ones to shoulder all the responsibility for men who aren't disciplined enough to keep their thoughts in order? No one is asking women to dress indecently but the logic here is making women look like walking bags of rice so that men can keep their thoughts in order. That clearly shows that women are seen as nothibg but objects- their emotions don't matter. They have no say. And they're even to blame for a man's shortcomings. 1 Like |
