A hater before the age of social media was someone who has a strong dislike for someone or something. But these days slowly the meaning has been transformed to mean someone who doesnt like or is jealous of the success of another. I don't think that is unfair because when you make you life public via the social media it means you want people to see and comment, if someone notices a flaw and points it out is that person suddenly jealous of your success
Let's say for example WiKid an adult who has millions of followers and a high percentage teenagers posts a picture on IG where he is smoking dope... is that okay?? granted he has money and he is a great musician but he is also meant to be a role model.. Many so called fans will hail him 'baba carry on' but if someone should dear point out the flaws in the action he will be generally labelled HATER. Haters exist but most people being called haters don't deserve it.
Funny enough some celebrities are obsessed with haters. Especially who compose lots of songs for haters but hardly any for their fans...Baba if u ask me no one hates your success, accept and learn from honest opinions and not the number of 'likes'. In fact everyone is your fan but don't expect every fan to kiss ars.
Hating is a strong word just like wickedness which people often confuse with meaness.
