But voter turnout was extremely low, according to INEC figures. Just 301,232 of 1.84 million registered voters took part, a figure partly explained by so many names being missed off the electoral register, local election observers said. http://af.reuters.com/article/worldNews/idAFTRE6161Y620100207?pageNumber=2&virtualBrandChannel=0 |

@mama-gee, Mind you this is not a hair dressing saloon where u come in and talk recklessly. How do you call a PDP GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE A LOSER? are u crazy? Even peter respects soludo more than any candidate. In terms of campaign and advertisement, soludo was the highest followed by ekwunife. Ngige is only a fool! He better accepts defeat and support peter just as soludo did. Afterall its not war. Kama obu maka oganiru Anambra. I wish peter the best of luck. |

The result of the Februry 6th elction was only a narrow lead over NGIGE who was generally expected to be Governor of Anambra state. owing to some human circumstances which could not be overlookked the people of Anambra accepted Peter OBI for winning the election. Having won the election Obi's swearing in as the governor would not take long time as speculated by some quaters that a petition was underway over the violence free election. It's not like am against Obi's victory. But truth be told, the VP has a hand in his victory cos he saw Soludo /Andy/Ngige as threat to the presidential seat come 2011. Obi doesn't pose much of a threat to him and that's why he ensured his return. I don't know why we fail 2 look beyond our comfort zone. The whole thing was manipulated. Period! |

Period! @chi4b82 , you are such an intelligent idiot. soludo was only third. if obi gives way, ngige takes over. why are u this disillusioned. pdp is an igboman nightmare. no normal igboman wants pdp. soludo is the best candidate in the wrong party. i have always said it that soludo is not a man of his own. he was under a great invincible control. pdp murdered sleep when they pushed ngige out because of his refusal to share the state funds among the godfathers and since then, they have never known sleep in anambra state. i am well convienced that outside Jesus Christ, pdp has no other candidate to win that post in anambra with the current position of things. |

Folks Nigeria's Presidency is not the most important thing there is in the world. People need to stop associating everything to the Presidency. |
