Please, I need the relevant authorities to intervene in the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC)
Pre-enrolment process.

For the past four weeks, I have been frustrated in the process of trying to register in the NIMC websites; the
sites which were provided for the purpose of pre-registration has been fraught with one error or the other.

I try to register severally and put in the requested Captcha code correctly, but it responds with: "Wrong image
text...", even when it is apparent that the code entered is correct.

Government needs to do something as soon as possible. They should fix these problems with their websites. I have also
confirmed from other people, who are going through the same ordeal, that it is in deed, a problem.

I understand that even those that registered over four years ago, are yet to be issued their cards.

I wonder how an important body, such as NIMC, with the powers to create, manage, maintain and operate the National
Identity Database of Nigerian citizens, be this negligent?

Please, let's create awareness for this suffering Nigerians are passing through just to be registered on the National
Identity Database.

Its about 8 Hours now since this error resurfaced
Let there be a working feedback or customer care contact to report such issues and a livechat on the website to help citizen know what is going on and if any effort is being made to rectify and for how long.
There was a time when it took close to a month to resolve.

Please, I am still experiencing these problems, and it is frustrating despite assurances from the management that it is now working.

There's no functional feedback or customer care contact to report such issues.

It's very annoying that in 21st century Nigeria, we are still grappling with issues such as NIMC registration. I hope these bottlenecks are not deliberately meant to frustrate us to "bribe" our way to get the National ID Card.

This part is the major problem.

The physical enrollment is nothing good to write home about. Officials are also requesting bribe to do there work. While majority use favouritism and nepotism for enrollment.

I will be going [again] tomorrow to my L.G.A in hope for progress on it.

It is shameful NIMC can not fix this minor registration problem that has lingered for this long.
As of today 19/09/2017, the pre-enrolment portal is still not accessible having tried for months.

They allow hoodlums to sit in their offices, charging innocent Nigerians for pre-enrolment and are not able to provide the manual forms for people to fill. This is because the proceeds are shared with NIMC staff.

Yesterday at a registration centre, an enrolment staff spent all the time eating and tending to her crying baby. No sense of service or respect for office/ designation.

Just wondering if posterity will bless or curse this generation for our failures and indiscretion. Corruption is Nigerian otherwise what explains the persistently dysfunctional registration process after funding the needless multi-million Naira commission?

National Identity Management Commission is another failure and myopic rationale of the Nigerian Government.
