A renowned Catholic Priest in Uyo Catholic Diocese And Founder Grace Family Global Outreach, Rev. Fr. Patrick Henry Edet have today in a live Radio Program on a private Radio Station, Planet FM in Uyo publicly announced his resignation from the Catholic Priesthood.
The Reverend Father who is seen by many as highly spiritually gifted has an outreach which he ministers undiluted words of God to people.
According to him, due to his divine calling he has been facing all levels of condemnation from the Church hierarchy. He therefore conclude that for him to be free to continue with his Divine calling,he must give way to the priesthood because he had sworn to be loyal and law abiding to the Catholic priesthood and the Church hierarchy. The Reverend Father has published quite a number of spiritually motivated books which include the popular Arrow of Victory. He run Both Radio and Television Religious programs in many Radio station in Nigeria and Abroad.
The News of his resignation from priesthood came to many as a shock.Many Catholic faithfuls will really miss this great man of God.
The Question on people's lips now is...Will he still Continue with his ministry or will the Catholic church stop him totally?
