There should be no secret voting in the Senate and House of Rep. It is high time Nigerians knew who voted what on the floor of the Senate/House of Rep. Over time of voting each Senator or Rep. Member could be analyzed from his/her pattern of voting to ascertain
1. Their comprehension of the bill voted for or against
2. If each is representing their constituency and Nigerian masses as a whole
3. If such Member is fit to return to Senate/House of Rep. or sit back home
4. Who is the enemy of Nigerians
5. The group that is out for selfish gains at the expense of suffering Nigerians

I am totally with you on this man. We should see what each of them voted for and should be able to question the rationale behind such votes. Also, can we also have a system for automatically disqualifying reps or senators who don't sponsor at least a bill from seeking re-election

Nigerian Senate looking for more sophisticated ways to over-protect themselves. From Legislative Immunity to secret voting.

What's the rationale behind having legislative immunity and still want their opinions in the house secret.

Block heads.
