Hey guy's, I would like to inquire a few response regarding my question. I'm a layman with no knowledge of computer whatsoever and I hope to manage a website. On this regard, I would like to know if it's possible to learn webdesign in 3months with intense concentration and commitment. Thanks for your anticipated reply

Website design can be divided into
1. Coding
2. Content management system
coding takes years and more rewarding as you can use the knowledge beyond website building and maintenance.
CMS is simple. However there are many type of CMS. Learning one will not take you up to 3 months. If you want to learn all, that will increase the time you will learn it.

If u want to be a good Web designer you should learn from scratch.
Start with your html, then css , followed by your basic javascript.
When you feel you are comfortable with these you can the add any server side language you like.
You can chose between ASP.NET and PHP.

I think once you can get to that stage everyothed thing falls in place. That's how it goes....

I don't understand any of this terminologies; ASP.NET, PHP, CMS among others. I know virtually nothing about coding, webdesign and development.
I'm an history student but I have a really good innovation that I'm sure will have a tremendous impact on the internet. I can't go into full details because of piracy. So, in short without any knowledge of any of the above terminologies, can I have a really good website up and running within 5months(maybe with the support of a professional web-designer).
