That is exactly what is going on silently in the North. Similarly its gradually coming to the South.

When Islam moves it wipes out the culture and way of life of the people.

Gradually the tend to be more Arab than their Original Cultural Background.

Gradually Hausa names now become inferior to Arab names then you get names like Asabe, Dantala, Danladi etc giving ways to Mohammed, Ahmed etc which are now considered superior to their God given culture and identities.

Same happens for marriage, dressing etc that are now considered inferior to Arab styles of clothing , Names , Dancing ......

Only recently heard one Igbo Jammatu Islamia top official bearing a similar name and i laughed.

The Worst part of the whole thing is that they start becoming more Arab than the Arab.
