When you are ready to talk in a meaningful way, quote me and state out your points. Moreover, if you were not blind you would have seen where I said that the Samsung phone is worth buying because if it's cool features and pointed out two glaring flaws which your myopic senselessness "bandwagonism" won't allow you see.

I sir am not a bandwaginist not do I suffer from crowd mentality as you are subtly implying

The fact reminds Nigerians at some point we're I live with the transsion gimmicky marketing of substandard garbage phones
But trust me the novelty is long work off . After seeing high bike quality devices at the same price , using them and seeing the difference, no one needs to be told that class speaks for itself .

So transsion can rent out hotel lobbies ,, hire skinny models as much as they like to launch more garbage branded by foreign football clubs.. from now till eternity

But if transsion doesn't start making standard devices , using good build quality parts instead of looking for quick money as they have been doing over the years , the market share will share will continue to drop

I know the entrance of real competition into the Nigerian market like Japan's freetel and Googles ICE 2 are giving them sleepless nights .
But the funny thing is when a brand is used to delivering quality they should have no fear should they ?
But alas transsion has been selling dung to Nigerians in the name of smart phones and Turning around to still Rip us off in the name of parts not being available at carlcare .

But that ship has sailed , shitfinix, shecno and laitel better up their game or watch the already dwindling market share evaporate .

Nokia, Samsung , HTC, Xaomi, Lenovo, blackberry , Moto , Nexus, LG, pixel, freetel and co are real Android phones ..

Shitfinix, shecno and laitel are nothing but low build quality garbage

So don't take this personally, and don't get insultive

Let me reply this because you made some vital points. One thing you must know is that when it comes to mobile phones, there is nothing like sub-standard. The standard is relative based on the user of the phone. As a computer scientist, I need a high end phone because of my applications and all and that's why I use them. Some other kind of people may not need such. Phones should be bought based on one's needs. If you read my first point well, you would have seen that I clearly stated that infinix and co make low end, affordable smart phones. I said "low end" and not too bad based on their pricing and functionality. They have not even started using Snapdragon and the company says they will start soon. So, this isn't a competition between the brands and you need to cut them some slack as they have a target market and based on the multiplier effect and because that target market of theirs have the highest number is the society, they will sell far better than Samsung phones. This is more like a marketing common sense. The low end kind of their phones make it affordable and not just that it is affordable, it is also functional. That's the point I am trying to make.

I said you seem to be part of the bandwagon because you do not seem to have any criticism for this device but if infinix had released a phone with a 3300mah battery in 2017 ,you will be quick to call it crap but cannot criticise this one for such a poor battery and the battery ratings on the infinix series aren't fake. The 4 pro comes with a 4500mah and lasts almost 2 days with a charge of less than 2 hours. That's commendable. Also, this Samsung is 6.5 inches. Isn't that too long for a mobile? That seems to be a design flaw. What's your take on that?

I don't know why these Samsung producers are so stingy with battery, 3 year old infinix hot note had a battery capacity of 4000maH while Samsung is still producing 3300maH batteries in 2017.

One the size isn't too big, some of us have been wearing glasses from childhood so the bigger a screen size the better

Humor aside, the note is a phablet not a phone , phablet are pop culture nicknames for phone and tablet hybrids .

Next I have never used a shecno or shitfinix phone and can't say personally about the battery life but those close to me who have state clearly that a Samsung ,HTC, Lenovo, Moto G4, LG, Xaomi, ZTE etc with a 1500mha batter easily out performs a shitfinix screaming 3000mha that says alot doesn't it?

Your point t about building low end garbage phones because of their target market Is flawed .

It's like saying Sony should build a PS4 pro with shitty parts for Africa and sell at cheap prices ? How does that make common sense ?

Let me take you to business school , now for your so called shecno and shitfinix out selling Samsung in Nigeria being a factor we'll look at it from this angle ..
Samsung may sell less numbers in Nigeria but they make more revenue why?

I know you would say high priced phones , yes to the lay man but it's about brand equity .

If you buidling a brand selling shit bag low end sneakers and yor excuses you sell to poor ghetto teens
Who can't afford Nikes ? Well what happens when the teens want to play college basketball? And they know your sneakers can't keep up? They all eventually get tired of wearing sneakers that rip and go for Nikes ...
Why? Nikes didn't reduce their prices nor did Nikes start making low build quality sneakers ...so how did this happen ? If you can answer this you will understand who shitfinix market share is dropping and why they really want to start using Snapdragon processors .

It was never about the Nigerian people,it was about reaping nigerians off and taking advantage of uninformed masses.
Now they see the game is up they are going to start releasing phones with 1st generation out dated Snapdragon chipsets and claim they have upgraded .

Listen while I can't fault them for wanting to makes quick buck but please don't call a horse drawn carriage a Ferrari.

Shecno and shitfinix phones are garbage over priced a s Sam devices targeted at uninformed poor countries that allow anything to be sold In them.

They can't even sell these devices in the ghettos in joburg south Africa or in any developed Asian country. When. I was in Bangkok I met a chap who worked for transsion back in the day I can't remember what we got talking about that led to that but he also made me understand alot I can't say here.
.but trust me they know they make garbage , they know the phones they make are utter trash , they dare not travel back to China with these phones ...

So why burn your energy arguing with me when those that own the product consider it to be short and can't even sell it to their own Chinese citizens ?

And you are brainwashed to to point of getting upset ?

Brother do you know the transsion CEO George Zhu? He uses an iPhone !!!

They all do in their head office , their own ex colleague told me. He had no reason to lie because we were both just having drinks and chatting as we both happened to be staying in the same hotel .
He made me understand that the staff only use there devices when they visit their offices in African countries ! To make the locals believe in the brand but once they travel back they dump that one for the next staff visit .

Anyways that's all enjoy your day

About the size, you are mistaken. The phone is smaller than most of the new Infinix phones. Screen size takes account of the screen alone and not the extra body of the phone. Your infinix has extra part at the top and bottom. This phones is the first bezeless phone in the world after the S8. Apart from the screen, there is no bezel at the top or bottom. You have forgotten that your dear Infinix Note 3 has a screen size of 6.0". And that is not even taking the extra bezels into consideration.

The phone is actually handy.
Every other phone in the world has extra space at the top and bottom of the screen.
The phone is bezeless. It has an infinity display so there is little or no extra space on top like all other phones. It is the first bezeless phone in the world after the Samsung S8/S8+

As for the battery, LG, Motorola, HTC and other premium smartphone makers use the same battery capacity or even lower for their phones. Their phones are well optimized to consume battery power minimally. Battery tests of the S8 showed that it performed well. Not to forget that people that buy these phones aren't the types that suffer from NEPA wahala. They will likely have generator sets in their homes. And they will have other gadgets like laptops, ipads and co. Not the typical Nigerian that spends all day on his phone because that is the only gadget he has. His phone is the only means for watching movies and playing games.
