Why Do Igbo Guys Hate Yoruba Guys? by Sonofpeace(m): 8:05am On Feb 20, 2010
For what i have come across here on the net for a long time i found out that two of the most intelligent, successful, outgoing, interesting en enforcing tribe in Nigeria (Igbo en Yoruba) doesn't like to have anything to do with each other despite the fact that they need each other in some extend. A Yoruba guy hate to associate with an Igbo guy while an Igbo guy when associating with a Yoruba he is always cautious of his fellow citizen(Yoruba guy).
The most interesting thing is that a Yoruba guy like to associate or even marry an Igbo lady en vice-versa with Igbo guys to Yoruba ladies. My question here is; why all these hatred that i have being seeing both offline en online? Plz haters stay off!

The above tiltle is not true,

It's true but not everyone from either tribe is involved in this hate.

I think i want to agree with you. Maybe it's because that's where you find the most intelligent of the two.

The problem is that the emotional trauma of the Nigerian Civil war led to Igbo parents hatred/mistrust  of yoruba people & this is inexplicably passed on to their (Igbo) children.

All to the advantage of the Hausa-Fulani cabal .

Really sad indeed  cry cry cry cry

P.S:It'll end once the children(this generation) have no such tales to pass on.

Trust me tribalism and inability to accept other peoples religious rights/views will one day ruin this country.
i can only pray this generation comes to a better understanding of differences and acceptance
