You can use it to make more money by charging your customers more for the exact same work.

@seun abi o fancy words same technology don't waste time learning multiple platforms just get ur fav and stick to it better a guru at one language and basic knowledge at others than basic knowledge on all of them cuz each is like a journey.

On Web 2.0 and Web 3.0

Web 2.0 is an issue of technology enhancement. You are already into it but you may not know. Back to the begining of Internet, I may call that Web 0.0, access to internet was via DOS terminals. To connect to remote computer, you use the TELNET Terminals. Eg. TELNET (\\10.11.112.23). Access the internet use to be for university lecturers and other gurus. Most of the information sent are coded texts and binaries. Data displayed as DOS directories.

When web1.0 came, the so called multimedia content of the internet was born. for the first time pictures, audio files, vidoe files are passed through the internet. As a matter of fact web 1.0 brought the so called www. Accessing the Internet was no longer through DOS commands but through the address bar of Explorers. Netscape Company introduced the Navigator to facilitate this . Navigator was an explorer that stoods on the client computer side to help in rendering and transporting multimedia components of the internet to and fro the web servers. Then Internet information users were mere SPECTATORS like football fans. Most of the webpages were mere Calenders.

Web 2.0 came with Participatory and Interactive technologies. Today you can can Chart, Blog, Do Animations, Engange in Forum, Share Videos,,  just from your desktop. You can easily have a two communication with a website.These are the embodyment of web 2.0. The technologies driving these product are 'just' termed the web 2.0. It is a provoking term anyway. I agree with Tim Berners (the Inventor of the Web) when he called "a piece of jargons". The so called web 2.0 was already part of web design but at the early day of web, the industry does not have the technologies to support them. For instance, the TCP/IP suite was already designed to support video and sound transport since the 70s. Javascripts, Perl, CGI, ASP, were all there but have not been harnessed to there full strenghts.

Today we are talking about Web 3.0. Ha ha ha, ! I laughed. Do you know why? I laughed because we are just looking for activities. New technologies have started arriving for it. One of them is the Ajax and PHP 6.0. What is AJax? It is called the Asynchronous JavaScript and XML. What it simply means is that you can use Javascript and XML tools to develop websites that can cause data updates without refreshing everything on your page as we have it now. More contents shall be placed on Mobile phones, PDA, TV Sets, Microwave Ovens in Kitched,,

You can use web20 and web 3.0 by just rendering services using chats, skype, Facebook, videotubes, Animations using FALSH, Picture sales,blogs, Ezines, and market places tool to the numerous clients out there.
