The guy has a big and strong following. The responsible and caring thing for the Nigerian government to do is to try and convince his followers that there is hope in Nigeria and that Nnamdi Kanu is misleading them. Rather PMB would rather shut him up and disregard the feelings of too many Pro-Briafrans instead of addressing it. That's insensitive and that's why wars happen. Why hasn't the regime taken time to dialogue with the agitators? Because they don't care. They'll rather send soldiers.

You've written one of the most sensible post I've read on Nairaland in recent times. There's this army of underaged and jobless youths that post trash all over the place skewing facts to their taste. And because the internet remembers, sane people sometimes joins in this insanity in an effort to put the facts straight.

That is by the way. On the issue you've raised, I'm aware Buhari made tribalist and Islamist statements before his presidency. In fact, his body language has not changed from that clannish attitude. He's still the "king in the North" rather than the country Nigeria.

Every true fighter knows that to win any struggle, you either go the peaceful way or go violent. To go peaceful, you need to engage in discussions, debate people, bring up issues at international bodies, make more friends locally and even convert your enemies to be on your side. But Nnamdi Kanu is making more enemies and turning his friends to enemies by hateful speeches. I don't see how he can win by doing this.

On the other hand, you can win a struggle by going violent. To do this you need arsenal of weapon and an army. Kanu doesn't have this, yet. I believe this is the only option as ge refused to be diplomatic.
